Es ist der Bereich, in dem Materialien bei extrem kalten Temperaturen hergestellt, gelagert, transportiert und angewendet werden. Extreme K\u00e4lte kann dabei interessante chemische Reaktionen hervorrufen. Zum Beispiel wechseln manche Substanzen durch die Abk\u00fchlung von gasf\u00f6rmig zu fl\u00fcssig oder nehmen eine feste Form an.<\/p>\n<p>Eine bekannte Fl\u00fcssigkeit, die bei Abk\u00fchlung ihren Zustand \u00e4ndert, ist Wasser. Bei einer Temperatur von 0 \u00b0C verwandelt sich Wasser von einer Fl\u00fcssigkeit in einen Feststoff, der als Eis bezeichnet wird. Hierbei handelt es sich jedoch nicht um Kryogenie. Erst wenn Temperaturen von -160 \u00b0C oder tiefer erreicht werden, spricht man von Kryogenie. Das sind Temperaturen, bei denen Gase fl\u00fcssig werden; diese Technik wird in verschiedenen <a href=\"#Branchen\">Industrien <\/a>eingesetzt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Temperatur, die zur Verfl\u00fcssigung eines Gases erforderlich ist, variiert von Gas zu Gas. So verfl\u00fcssigt sich beispielsweise Sauerstoff bei einer Temperatur von minus 183 \u00b0C, w\u00e4hrend Helium eine Temperatur von mindestens minus 269 \u00b0C ben\u00f6tigt.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section erreichen, sind hochentwickelte Techniken erforderlich. In den meisten F\u00e4llen werden<a href=\"https:\/\/science.jrank.org\/pages\/1890\/Cryogenics-Methods-producing-cryogenic-temperatures.html#:~:text=There%20are%20essentially%20only%20four,effect)%2C%20and%20adiabatic%20demagnetization.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> vier verschiedene Methoden<\/a> zum Erzeugen kryogener Temperaturen verwendet:<\/p><h3>1. W\u00e4rmeleitf\u00e4higkeit<\/h3><p>Die W\u00e4rmeleitf\u00e4higkeit ist vielleicht die bekannteste Methode. Bringt man zwei Produkte oder Materialien in Verbindung, so \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt sich die W\u00e4rme vom w\u00e4rmsten Produkt auf das k\u00e4lteste Produkt. Das gleiche Prinzip gilt f\u00fcr kryogene Temperaturen. Die extreme K\u00e4lte wird \u00fcbertragen, indem ein Gas, eine Fl\u00fcssigkeit oder ein Feststoff mit einer kryogenen Fl\u00fcssigkeit in Kontakt kommt. Das Gas, die Fl\u00fcssigkeit oder der Feststoff erreicht dadurch ebenfalls die gew\u00fcnschte kryogene Temperatur.<\/p><h3>2. Verdunstungsk\u00fchlung<\/h3><p>Atome oder Molek\u00fcle haben in fl\u00fcssiger Form weniger Energie als in gasf\u00f6rmiger Form. Bei der Verdampfung eines fl\u00fcssigen Produkts erhalten die Atome oder Molek\u00fcle an der Oberfl\u00e4che gen\u00fcgend Energie von der umgebenden Fl\u00fcssigkeit, um in den gasf\u00f6rmigen Zustand \u00fcberzugehen. Im Gegensatz dazu beh\u00e4lt die verbleibende Fl\u00fcssigkeit weniger Energie zur\u00fcck, wodurch sie k\u00e4lter wird. Durch die Induzierung eines Verdampfungsprozesses kann also die Abk\u00fchlung einer Fl\u00fcssigkeit erreicht werden.<\/p><h3>3. Abk\u00fchlung durch schnelle Ausdehnung<\/h3><p>Eine dritte Methode ist die Nutzung des <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/blog\/die-geschichte-der-kryotechnik\/\">Joule-Thompson<\/a>-Effekts. Dabei werden Gase durch eine abrupte Expansion des Volumens oder einen ebenso schnellen Druckabfall abgek\u00fchlt. Diese Methode wird in gro\u00dfem Umfang bei der Verfl\u00fcssigung von Wasserstoff und Helium eingesetzt.<\/p><h3>4. Adiabatische Entmagnetisierung<\/h3><p>Die vierte und letzte Methode wird haupts\u00e4chlich bei der K\u00fchlung von fl\u00fcssigem Helium eingesetzt und verwendet paramagnetische Salze, um W\u00e4rme zu absorbieren. Paramagnetisches Salz kann man sich als eine gro\u00dfe Anzahl kleiner Magnete vorstellen, die, wenn sie in ein starkes Magnetfeld gebracht und mit einem Elektromagneten bearbeitet werden, Energie erzeugen oder nutzen. Denn erst ab dem Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde die Kryotechnik bekannter, als immer mehr Gase erfolgreich verfl\u00fcssigt werden konnten.<\/p><p>Alles begann 1877, als es den Wissenschaftlern Louis Cailletet und Raoul Pictet gelang, Sauerstoff zu verfl\u00fcssigen. Die Experimentierphase war zu dieser Zeit in vollem Gange, und bald erschienen auch andere Gase in fl\u00fcssiger Form. So war Wasserstoff 1884 das erste Gas, das in einen Nebel verwandelt werden konnte. 1892 entwickelte Sir James Dewar ein vakuumisoliertes Gef\u00e4\u00df zur Lagerung <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/blog\/alles-ueber-kryogene-fluide-eigenschaften-qualitaeten-und-anwendungen\/\">kryogener Fl\u00fcssigkeiten<\/a>, was die Arbeit mit verfl\u00fcssigten Gasen erleichterte.<\/p><p>In den folgenden Jahren gelang es den Experten, immer mehr Gase zu verfl\u00fcssigen, darunter auch das letzte in der Reihe, Helium. Die fl\u00fcssige Form dieses Gases kam erstmals 1908 zum Einsatz.<\/p><h3>Kryotechniken in einer Vielzahl von Branchen<\/h3><p>Inzwischen entdeckten immer mehr Branchen den Nutzen der Kryotechnik. So wurde 1961 in den Vereinigten Staaten erstmals die Kryochirurgie praktiziert. Wissenschaftler fanden heraus, dass eine langsame Abk\u00fchlung ungesundes menschliches Gewebe zerst\u00f6ren konnte. In den Vereinigten Staaten wurde dazu Fl\u00fcssigstickstoff verwendet, und einige Jahre sp\u00e4ter setzten \u00c4rzte in S\u00fcdafrika die Methode auch dort ein. In S\u00fcdafrika wurde jedoch statt fl\u00fcssigem Stickstoff Distickstoffoxid verwendet.<\/p><p>Auch die Raumfahrtindustrie f\u00fchrte im 20. Jahrhundert die kryogene Technik ein. Die amerikanische Atlas-Centaur-Rakete verwendete 1961 zum ersten Mal fl\u00fcssigen Wasserstoff und fl\u00fcssigen Stickstoff f\u00fcr das Raumfahrtprogramm. Dieses Ereignis gilt als bedeutender Meilenstein in der Kryotechnik und f\u00fchrte sofort zu einer gro\u00df angelegten Fl\u00fcssigwasserstoffproduktion f\u00fcr \u00e4hnliche Projekte.<\/p><p>Die Medizintechnik und die Luft- und Raumfahrt sind nur Beispiele f\u00fcr Bereiche, in denen die Kryotechnik schon seit langem im Einsatz ist. Einige dieser Gase werden im Handel angeboten und stehen der Allgemeinheit zur Verf\u00fcgung (man denke an Helium f\u00fcr Ballons und Sauerstoff im medizinischen Bereich). In den meisten F\u00e4llen werden kryogene Gase jedoch von Industrieunternehmen verwendet.<br \/>Die Kryotechnik kennt mehrere Arten von Industriegasen (von denen einige in mehreren Kategorien aufgef\u00fchrt sind):<\/p><h3>Luftgase<\/h3><p>Luftgase werden durch die Zerlegung der Luft in verschiedene Komponenten gewonnen. Die Atmosph\u00e4re besteht haupts\u00e4chlich aus Stickstoff, Sauerstoff, Argon und einer kleinen Anzahl von Edelgasen. <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/blog\/verwendungszwecke-und-anwendungen-von-fluessigstickstoff\/\">Fl\u00fcssigstickstoff<\/a> wird z. B. in der Nahrungsmittelindustrie und in der Medizin zur K\u00fchlung eingesetzt; fl\u00fcssiger Sauerstoff wird h\u00e4ufig in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie verwendet; fl\u00fcssiges Argon ist vor allem durch seine Verwendung als F\u00fcllgas in Gl\u00fchbirnen bekannt.<\/p><h3>Edelgase<\/h3><p>Edelgase (Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon und Radon) sind ebenfalls in minimalen Mengen in der Atmosph\u00e4re vorhanden. Diese Gase haben eines gemeinsam: Sie reagieren kaum mit anderen Substanzen. Daher werden sie oft f\u00fcr <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/blog\/die-vielseitigkeit-der-kryotechnik-11-kryogene-anwendungen\/\">kryogene Anwendungen<\/a> eingesetzt, bei denen eine Reaktion (wie Toxizit\u00e4t oder Oxidation) nicht erw\u00fcnscht ist. Zum Beispiel in Gl\u00fchbirnen und Lasern, aber auch in Ballons und Pressluftflaschen f\u00fcr Taucher.<\/p><h3>Wasserstoff<\/h3><p>Auch <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/hydrogen\/\">Wasserstoff <\/a>wird regelm\u00e4\u00dfig in der Kryotechnik eingesetzt. Wasserstoff ist das Element, das in Verbindung mit Sauerstoff Wasser bildet. Dieses Gas kommt auf der Erde nicht in reiner Form vor, wird aber regelm\u00e4\u00dfig zur Energiegewinnung oder zur Verwendung als Treibstoff hergestellt.<\/p><h3>Andere Gase<\/h3><p>Die oben genannten Kategorien decken nicht alle technischen Gase ab. So wird z. B. fl\u00fcssiges Kohlendioxid (CO2) in der Kryotechnik verwendet, stellt aber unserer Meinung nach eine zus\u00e4tzliche Kategorie dar. Der unvorsichtige Umgang mit diesen Gasen birgt erhebliche Risiken, wie z. B. Brand- und Explosionsgefahren. Es besteht auch die Gefahr, dass Gase ihre verfl\u00fcssigte Form verlieren und folglich vergeudet werden. Gerade bei teuren Gasen hat dies erhebliche finanzielle Konsequenzen.<br \/>Beispiele f\u00fcr bekannte Risiken in der Kryotechnik\u00a0 sind:<\/p><h3>Verletzung durch extreme K\u00e4lte<\/h3><p>Die kalten D\u00e4mpfe und Gase, die von kryogenen Fl\u00fcssigkeiten freigesetzt werden, k\u00f6nnen zu Verletzungen der Haut f\u00fchren. Bei l\u00e4ngerem Kontakt mit kryogenen Substanzen kann die Haut vollst\u00e4ndig gefrieren und nach dem Auftauen eine empfindliche Hautreizung zur\u00fccklassen, die einer schweren Verbrennung \u00e4hnelt.<\/p><h3>Gef\u00e4hrliche Giftstoffe<\/h3><p>Die meisten Gase haben eine gesundheitssch\u00e4dliche Wirkung, wenn sie hoch konzentriert sind. Fl\u00fcssiges Kohlenmonoxid zum Beispiel kann Kohlenmonoxidgas abgeben, das t\u00f6dlich sein kann.<\/p><h3>Brand- und Explosionsrisiken<\/h3><p>Eine relativ gro\u00dfe Anzahl von Gasen ist brennbar und explodiert bei Kontakt mit Feuer. Zu den entflammbaren Gasen geh\u00f6ren Wasserstoff, Methan, Fl\u00fcssigerdgas (LNG) und Kohlenmonoxid.<\/p><h3>Explosion durch schnelle Expansion<\/h3><p>Nicht nur Brand, auch Druck kann fl\u00fcssige Gase zur Explosion bringen. Ohne ausreichend funktionierende Entl\u00fcftung oder \u00dcberdruckentlastungseinrichtungen an kryogenen Lagerbeh\u00e4ltern kann sich in den Gasen ein enormer Druck aufbauen. Dies kann zu einer sogenannten BLEVE (boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion) f\u00fchren.<\/p><h3>Der Verlust von hochwertigen Gasen<\/h3><p>Ein letztes zu ber\u00fccksichtigendes Risiko beim Arbeiten mit kryogenen Gasen ist deren Verlust. Damit ein Gas verfl\u00fcssigt bleibt, muss es kontinuierlich auf der richtigen Temperatur gehalten werden. Wenn es sich unbeabsichtigt erw\u00e4rmt oder in den Infrastrukturen verschlechtert, kann es zu einer Verfl\u00fcchtigung in gasf\u00f6rmigem Zustand kommen.<br \/>Ein Beispiel f\u00fcr ein sehr wertvolles Gas, das so leicht verloren geht, ist Helium. Helium wird, neben einigen anderen nat\u00fcrlichen Gasen,\u00a0 unterirdisch gefunden. Um es jedoch nutzen zu k\u00f6nnen, muss es zun\u00e4chst in seine reinste Form verbessert werden. Dies ist ein kostspieliger und aufw\u00e4ndiger Prozess. Au\u00dferdem ist Helium ein so fl\u00fcchtiges Gas, dass es bei seiner Freisetzung sogar die Atmosph\u00e4re verl\u00e4sst.<br \/>Um den Verlust von Helium so weit wie m\u00f6glich zu verhindern, werden bei Demaco alle Heliumprojekte mit geschlossenen Systemen ausgestattet. Dieser zus\u00e4tzliche Schutz kann einen gro\u00dfen Unterschied bei der Einsparung von Gas und damit der Projektkosten ausmachen.<\/p><h3>Die Bedeutung einer guten Infrastruktur<\/h3><p>Die Kryotechnik ist ein hochspezialisiertes Fachgebiet, das Wissen und K\u00f6nnen auf h\u00f6chstem Niveau erfordert. Diese fortschrittliche Technologie sorgt daf\u00fcr, dass einzelne Motorenkomponenten vor\u00fcbergehend eine Gefriertemperatur erreichen und dadurch leicht schrumpfen, so dass sie bei der Montage mit einer geringen Krafteinwirkung in den Motor gepresst werden k\u00f6nnen. Sobald sich das Teil wieder erw\u00e4rmt, dehnt es sich aus und wird fest im Motor verankert.<br \/>Um die Teile schnell auf Tiefsttemperatur zu bringen, werden Fl\u00fcssiggase verwendet, wof\u00fcr eine kryogene Infrastruktur ben\u00f6tigt wird.<\/p><h3>2. Elektronik<\/h3><p>Eine zweite Branche, in der die Kryotechnik eine bedeutende Rolle spielt, ist die <em>Elektronikindustrie<\/em>. Vor allem bei der Pr\u00fcfung elektronischer Ger\u00e4te kommen extrem kalte Fl\u00fcssiggase zum Einsatz. Fl\u00fcssigstickstoff wird normalerweise verwendet, um zu testen, ob die Ger\u00e4te den kalten Temperaturen im t\u00e4glichen Gebrauch standhalten k\u00f6nnen.<\/p><h3>3. Nahrungsmittel<\/h3><p>In der <em>Nahrungsmittelindustrie<\/em> werden Fl\u00fcssiggase zur <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/blog\/die-vorteile-der-kryogenen-kuehlung\/\">kryogenen K\u00fchlung<\/a> und zum sicheren Verpacken von Produkten eingesetzt. Zu den Vorteilen der Kryotechnik in dieser Branche geh\u00f6ren die Verarbeitungsgeschwindigkeit und die Tatsache, dass die Produkte lange konserviert werden und dabei optimal ihre Form behalten.<\/p><h3>4. LNG<\/h3><p>Die<em> LNG-Industrie<\/em> w\u00e4chst in rasantem Tempo. LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) bietet einige Umweltvorteile f\u00fcr die Schifffahrt und den Stra\u00dfenverkehr und wird deshalb zunehmend als Kraftstoff eingesetzt. Um LNG fl\u00fcssig zu halten, muss es bei -162 \u00b0C gelagert und transportiert werden, was eine hochentwickelte kryogene Infrastruktur erfordert.<\/p><h3>5. Schiffbauindustrie<\/h3><p>LNG wird in der <em>Schiffbauindustrie<\/em> auf verschiedene Weise verwendet und gelagert. Einige Schiffe verwenden das Gas als Treibstoff, w\u00e4hrend andere es in gro\u00dfen Lagertanks (Bunkern) transportieren. Medizintechnik<\/h3><p>Im <em>medizinischen Bereich<\/em> ist Fl\u00fcssigstickstoff besonders beliebt. Dieses Fl\u00fcssiggas wird zur Durchf\u00fchrung bestimmter medizinischer Eingriffe und zur Konservierung komplexer biologischer Strukturen verwendet (diese Methode, <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/blog\/kryokonservierung-anwendungen-methoden-und-produkte\/\">Kryokonservierung<\/a> genannt, wird zur Konservierung von Blut, Zellen, Organen, DNA und Sperma eingesetzt).<\/p><h3>7. Pharmazie<\/h3><p>Fl\u00fcssiger Stickstoff spielt auch in der <em>pharmazeutischen Industrie<\/em> eine wesentliche Rolle. Dieses Fl\u00fcssiggas wird h\u00e4ufig zur K\u00fchlung von kryogenen Aufbewahrungsbeh\u00e4ltern und zur Formung von Medikamenten in Pillenform verwendet.<\/p><h3>8. Wissenschaftliche Forschung<\/h3><p>Kryogene Gase sind nicht nur extrem kalt, sondern k\u00f6nnen auch eine enorme Energie erzeugen. Luft- und Raumfahrt<\/h3><p>Nicht zuletzt wegen der enormen Energie, die kryogene Gase erzeugen k\u00f6nnen, werden sie regelm\u00e4\u00dfig in der <em>Raumfahrtindustrie<\/em> eingesetzt. Beispielsweise werden kryogene Techniken f\u00fcr den Start von Satelliten und Raumfahrzeugen verwendet; Fl\u00fcssiggas dient als Treibstoff (f\u00fcr ein <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/blog\/asumed-ein-kryogener-motor-fuer-die-nachhaltige-luftfahrt\/\">Kryo-Triebwerk<\/a>). Mit diesem hochisolierten Rohrleitungssystem k\u00f6nnen fl\u00fcssige Gase sicher transportiert werden, ohne dass sie sich erw\u00e4rmen oder austreten.<\/p>\n<p>Transferleitungen gibt es in verschiedensten Ausf\u00fchrungen, Gr\u00f6\u00dfen und Materialien. So werden z. B. die <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/produkte\/vakuumisolierte-transferleitungen\/\">vakuumisolierten Rohre<\/a> aufgrund ihrer hohen Qualit\u00e4t und extremen Isolierung h\u00e4ufig und vielf\u00e4ltig eingesetzt. Aufgrund dieses W\u00e4rmelecks und des Druckabfalls im System wird ein Teil des Gases verdampfen. Wenn man zum Beispiel einen automatischen Entgaser an den h\u00f6chsten Punkt eines Stickstoffsystems anschlie\u00dft, wird das angesammelte Gas aus dem System abgeleitet, wenn kein oder ein geringer Durchfluss zu verzeichnen ist.<\/p><p>Um Eisbildung am Ende einer Gasleitung zu verhindern, kann eine <a href=\"https:\/\/demaco-cryogenics.com\/de\/produkte\/abgas-heizgeraet\/\">Entgaserheizung<\/a> installiert werden.
