The European funded consortium “ASuMED” of universities and companies from six different countries, organised by the German company Oswald, is busy developing and building a model of a fully superconducting motor for aeroplanes. Demaco takes part in this very interesting project since the start in May 2017 – delivering the cryogenic expertise – and will now be organising the next technical review meeting of the group from 8 to 10 April in the vicinity of our workshop. This week, we were also present together with Oswald at the famous Hannover Messe, where a turning model was presented.
